About Baby Trivia
Made by a mom who read every baby book and a dad who asked, “Isn’t there a baby trivia game we could play instead?”
Rea (the soon-to-be mom) asked for the hundredth time: “Have you read the baby books yet?”
Dave (the soon-to-be dad) still had not.
He wanted to learn about the baby on the way, but couldn’t help thinking there had to be a more fun way to prepare. Something they could play together before bed, pick up a few things in ten minutes, and call it a productive date night.
So he searched online for baby trivia. No games. A few trivia questions. Mostly “meh.” Even @babytrivia was up for grabs on Instagram and TikTok. So he claimed both, apparently deciding that starting a business was easier than finishing a book.
Together, Rea and Dave made the game they’d been looking for. They filled it with the facts that surprised them, the stuff nobody warned them about, and the questions they really wished they’d known to ask.
The result: one hundred cards covering pregnancy, labor and delivery, and baby’s first year. Every answer and explanation fact-checked. All designed to help you feel a little more prepared, a little more connected, and a little less dependent on whoever read the books.
Why Baby Trivia?
Baby Trivia works at a baby shower with twenty people, on the couch with your partner, or solo during a night feed. Four game modes (Streaks, First to 5, Speed Round, and Baby Shower Showdown), three to thirty minutes, and you walk away knowing what goes in the hospital bag, how to tell if your newborn is getting enough milk, and why the person who said “I’ll figure it out” is suddenly very quiet.
Who we are
Two parents, two kids, and one house that is never quiet. Baby Trivia is our first game and a brand of our small company, Soleya LLC. If you have a question, a story, or an interesting, useful, or fun fact you think belongs in the deck, we would love to hear it.
